Job Title: Payments Product Manager (hybrid)

Job Overview:
The Payments Product Manager is the SME in payment platforms and projects with finance and accounting impacts, including payment management, 3rd party payment integrations, and finance reporting. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Finance and Accounting terminology, and possess strong business acumen and strategic capabilities. Zuora admin certification and/or prior billing software experience is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be the point of contact and main operator of the Zuora payment platforms serving as Admin and Master Owner roles.
- Serve as liaison between business and company finance teams, gathering and aligning Accounting team requirements for D2C projects and initiatives.
- Support payment product management: definition, design, development, project management, implementation, testing, launch.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members; business owners, product management, UX, Design IT, BAs, QA, operations, and vendors, to develop roadmap and clarify product direction. Document requirements of sufficient quality.
- Support and provide direction to business leads in determining the impact of new functionality to existing business processes and system functionality.
- Ensure platforms and setup meet state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate legal review of all supporting materials and documentation.
- Prioritize the customer experience through compliant payment handling and support.
- Develop subject matter expertise of Safe-Guard's teams, current systems/platforms, applications, clients, Accounting and BI processes, and functionality.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and payment innovations

Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of Product Management working in an e-commerce or online billing environment.
- Strong understanding of payment management software and accounting processes.
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills with ability to interact, influence and align with all levels of the organization, both internal and external.
- Technical expertise with APIs, CMS and CRM platforms, and modern technology integration methodologies and toolsets.
- Proven track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently, delivering high quality work under tight timelines.
- Comfortable operating within both Agile and Kanban software development cadences, including familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Comfortable interfacing directly with cross-function product teams to articulate product vision and priority focus.
- BS/BA required.
- Skilled in learning new platforms and software programs.
