Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, AI Infrastructure, to define and drive the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle execution of Penguin Solutions’ infrastructure portfolio. This role is responsible for advancing next-generation server and data center infrastructure platforms supporting AI, HPC, and cloud environments.
Operating at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market teams, this individual will translate market demand and customer requirements into scalable, differentiated infrastructure solutions—ensuring alignment with overall portfolio strategy and long-term business objectives.
This role requires deep domain expertise across data center infrastructure technologies and the ability to influence internal stakeholders and external partners to shape product direction and deliver market-leading solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for AI and HPC infrastructure products, including rack systems, power distribution, cooling solutions, and supporting infrastructure technologies.
- Translate customer requirements, market trends, competitive intelligence, and business priorities into product strategy, investment decisions, and executable product plans.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept and business case development through launch, operationalization, and lifecycle management.
- Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales, marketing, and support organizations.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by engaging directly with enterprise, cloud, hyperscale, research, and AI-focused customers to understand evolving infrastructure requirements.
- Develop infrastructure solutions and reference architectures that support AI training, inference, HPC, and next-generation accelerated computing environments.
- Drive infrastructure strategy for AI factories, including power, cooling, rack integration, and deployment architectures that support increasingly dense accelerator-based computing environments.
- Act as a subject matter expert on data center infrastructure trends, including power delivery, thermal management, rack-scale architectures, facility considerations, and emerging infrastructure technologies.
- Partner with solution architects, account teams, and engineering organizations to define infrastructure requirements for complex customer engagements and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate with compute, networking, storage, and software product teams to ensure alignment across the broader platform portfolio.
- Develop business cases, market assessments, pricing strategies, and total cost of ownership (TCO) models to guide product investment and portfolio decisions.
- Engage with ODMs, OEMs, suppliers, and ecosystem partners to evaluate technologies, influence roadmaps, and accelerate product innovation.
- Support product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and sales enablement activities in partnership with marketing and go-to-market teams.
- Define product requirements for scalability, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, compliance, and global deployment readiness.
- Monitor product performance, customer adoption, market dynamics, and competitive developments to drive continuous product improvement and future roadmap planning.
- Ensure ecosystem alignment with company product strategy, platform architecture, and long-term AI infrastructure vision.
