Overview

If you have ever wanted to change the world with a dream team of exceptional people, then consider joining us in building the next generation of cloud-enabled, AI-native computing for agentic workers of the future.

We are the Windows Cloud organization at Microsoft; our product lines include Windows 365, a cloud service that streams the full Windows experience, apps, data, and settings from the Microsoft cloud to any device. Building on that foundation, we are now creating Windows 365 for Agents: a secure, governed, cloud-hosted Windows environment purpose-built for AI agents to autonomously execute computer-use tasks on behalf of users and organizations. Agents need a real Windows desktop to operate the long tail of enterprise apps, browsers, and line-of-business tools — Windows 365 for Agents gives them one, with identity, isolation, observability, and policy controls inherited from Microsoft’s Zero Trust stack. Windows 365 is generally available since August 2021 with millions of active users across thousands of Enterprise customers, and Windows 365 for Agents extends that platform into the agentic era.

We have exciting new opportunities in the Windows 365 engineering team to define and deliver Windows 365 for Agents — the platform that lets AI agents safely run, automate, and collaborate inside a real Windows environment hosted on Azure.

As a Product Manager in Windows 365 working on Windows 365 for Agents, you will lead product thinking at the intersection of AI agents, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure. You will shape how AI agents perceive, reason about, and act on a Windows desktop — defining the APIs, runtime primitives, safety guardrails, and admin controls that make agentic computing trustworthy at enterprise scale. You will work hands-on with frontier models, computer-use agent frameworks, and evaluation harnesses to turn rapidly evolving AI capabilities into shipping product. You will partner deeply with engineering, applied science, and design, and represent the product to customers, partners, and the developer community. This role includes customer and partner meetings and a small amount of travel.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

Just as SaaS brought applications to the cloud and Windows 365 brought the operating system to the cloud, we are now bringing the desktop into the agentic era — making Windows the most capable, governed surface for AI agents to do real work. You will define and ship features that let AI agents reliably observe screen state, invoke applications, handle authentication, persist context, and complete multi-step tasks inside Windows 365, while giving IT admins the controls they need to deploy agents safely. You will go deep with prompt evaluation, model behavior analysis, telemetry-driven product iteration, and benchmark design. You will work directly with customers, ISVs, and agent developers to gather requirements, identify failure modes in real workloads, and prioritize the platform investments that unlock new agentic scenarios.

Inside Microsoft you will collaborate closely with the Windows 365 engineering team and partner across the company — Copilot and Microsoft AI, Azure AI Foundry, Windows, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune, Entra, Security & Responsible AI, and Azure infrastructure. You will work as a feature PM to define the vision and value proposition for agent-facing capabilities, write product specs grounded in agent evaluation data, drive feature crews to deliver and measure outcomes, and validate solutions against real agent workloads. You will also work closely with marketing, finance, sales, and the developer ecosystem teams to bring Windows 365 for Agents to market.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.

Must have product or program management experience shipping software products, with hands-on experience building, integrating, or evaluating AI / LLM-powered features

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with large language models (LLM), agent frameworks, or computer-use / browser-use agents (e.g. building prompts, tools, evals, or end-to-end agent workflows)

Ability to write code or scripts (Python, TypeScript, or similar) well enough to prototype, run evaluations, and reason about API design — this is a builder role, not a purely strategic PM role

Strong product intuition for agentic experiences — designing for non-deterministic systems, defining success metrics, and shipping safely in the face of model behavior change

Experience with one or more of: operating systems and virtualization, identity and security, enterprise SaaS, developer platforms / SDKs, or AI evaluation and red-teaming

Able to turn fast-moving AI research into crisp specs, customer-facing narratives, and decision documents for executive review

Comfort with ambiguity, bias for action, and a builder’s mindset — you would rather prototype an agent loop and look at traces than write a deck about it
