Position Summary
This position plays a key role at IBHS, bridging the gap between research, engineering, and insurance. It partners with IBHS researchers to translate scientific and engineering findings into educational materials and guidance for member companies, loss control professionals, and policyholders. These efforts support resilient construction practices that go beyond code requirements and help strengthen the built environment against severe weather.
Through this work, you will help member companies better understand how building performance influences risk. By connecting engineering research to real-world applications, you’ll enable more informed underwriting decisions, enhance loss control evaluations, and advance risk mitigation across commercial portfolios.

Working Conditions
