Position description: #*The AI Product Officer supports the AI Product Manager in the design, development, delivery and continuous improvement of AI-powered products. The position actively participates in product delivery by working closely with the AI Product Manager and cross-functional teams across end-to-end implementation phases. It is also responsible for maintaining knowledge management practices, ensuring that business requirements, research outputs, product insights, standards, documentation, and processes are captured, governed, traceable and kept up to date.*#
Primary Responsibilities: #*
1. AI Product Discovery and Research Enablement
o Generate research-driven insights to support AI product vision, roadmap development and prioritization.
o Identify validated user needs, pain points, behaviors and value drivers relevant to AI-enabled solutions.
o Provide inputs to product hypotheses, problem statements, opportunity assessments and feasibility discussions.
o Support early stage concept validation and experimentation by contributing research inputs to pilots, POCs, and MVPs.
2. Knowledge Management and Product Intelligence
o Establish and maintain AI product knowledge assets including business requirements, reference documents, design artifacts, and delivery and implementation learnings, decision logs, and governance records.
o Ensure consistency, standardization traceability, and reuse of research, delivery, product insights, and reference documents across initiatives.
o Strengthen organizational learning, decision continuity, and audit readiness through well-structured, version-controlled, and accessible knowledge artifacts.
3. AI Product Delivery and Performance Support
o Support the effective delivery of AI initiatives throughout end-to-end implementation phases.
o Enable smoother implementation and change readiness by ensuring validated assumptions, requirements, and learnings are available to delivery and operational teams.
o Contribute to product validation, performance measurement, adoption tracking, and post-implementation review to inform continuous improvement.
4. Data & AI Governance and Ethics:
o Adhere to data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
o Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory policies and complete necessary data quality assessments, data privacy and impact reviews.
o Advocate responsible and ethical AI practices, promoting fairness, transparency, and bias mitigation
5. Stakeholder Collaboration
o Enable effective collaboration among business, product, IT, and governance stakeholders by ensuring research insights and knowledge artifacts are clearly documented, contextualized and accessible.
o Liaise with external vendors, research institutions and others.
6. Team Collaboration
o Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
o Participate in the regular knowledge sharing sessions on AI trends, best practices, and case studies.
o Lead or mentor junior or other team members as necessary.
7. Performs other AI related assignments as assigned by the AI Product Manager.*#

1. Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research activities to support AI product discovery, validation, and refinement across the product lifecycle.
2. Conduct usability assessments, and data analysis to validate AI product use cases, assumptions, and requirements.
3. Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support AI product vision, roadmap development, and prioritization decisions.
4. Support early-stage concept validation by contributing research inputs to pilots, POCs, MVPs, and experimentation initiatives.
5. Develop, maintain, and govern AI product knowledge assets, including research outputs, business requirements, reference documents, design artifacts, decision logs, and implementation learnings.
6. Ensure consistency, standardization, traceability, and reuse of knowledge artifacts across AI product discovery, delivery, and post‑implementation phases.
7. Maintain centralized, version-controlled repositories to support knowledge continuity, audit readiness, governance compliance, and organizational learning.
8. Support end-to-end AI product delivery activities by ensuring validated assumptions, research findings, requirements, and documentation are available to product, delivery, and operational teams.
9. Track and analyze AI product adoption, usage, and outcome metrics, consolidating post-implementation insights to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Conduct continuous scanning of AI trends, platforms, tools, and industry benchmarks relevant to banking and financial services to inform investment and roadmap decisions.
11. Support comparative analysis of AI solutions, vendors, and delivery approaches, providing synthesized intelligence to guide product and technology decisions.
12. Collaborate closely with AI Product Managers, Data Science teams, IT, business units, and vendors to validate findings, requirements, assumptions, and delivery outcomes.
13. Prepare research materials and documentation to support stakeholder discussions, decision‑making forums, governance reviews, and audit requirements.
14. Ensure adherence to Data Governance, AI Policy, Data Privacy, and other regulatory and internal governance requirements throughout research, documentation, and delivery activities
15. Advocate responsible and ethical AI practices, including fairness, transparency, and accountability, within AI product research and documentation.
16. Foster teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning by participating in AI knowledge‑sharing sessions and supporting capability‑building initiatives.
17. Provide mentoring or guidance to junior or other AI resources, as needed, to strengthen research, documentation, and knowledge management practices.
18. Perform other AI-related assignments as may be assigned by the AI Product Manager, consistent with the objectives and scope of the role.*#
