Chief Product Officer

The Chief Product Officer will oversee every element of our Product portfolio from concept to post-launch performance. For this role, you will have a background in scaling existing and novel solutions that exceed revenue and growth goals. You will bring an inspiring, progressive style and can articulate a compelling product strategy that resonates internally and delivers on the needs of our customers. As CPO, you will lead Velocity Global's motivated Product, UX/UI, and Analytics team's continued disruption of an excellent service-based model to a technology platform company focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth.

You will:

  • Be accountable for growing revenue, wide product and feature adoption, and operational efficiency; create roadmaps and implementation plans to complete.
  • Guide the product strategy and planning process to provide focus and understanding on critical strategies; engage partners to agree on a clear, relevant plan to deliver results for customers and the business.
  • Build end-to-end consumer life cycle experience from onboarding to continuous revenue optimization for the customers and supported employees' experience.
  • Analyze existing technologies, new technologies, market developments, and competition to identify and prioritize product market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to determine product positioning, pricing, advertising, and collateral development strategies.
  • Collaborate with Technology to prioritize resource allocations and development priorities.
  • Participate in the Employer of Record community to monitor trends and identify opportunities to promote a user-focused approach to our product development.
  • Establish targets for and track goals for operational metrics, product use, and profitability.
  • Develop customer segmentation and pricing models.
  • Lead management team meetings representing short, mid-range and long-term product/service vision. Ensure we maintain a comprehensive roadmap that prioritizes releases and development resources.
  • Build, mentor, and lead product management, UX and design, and user research teams where innovation can flourish.

You have:

  • Direct experience with SaaS (or cloud-based) B2B services; subscription services and/or two-sided network experience.
  • Requires 15+ years of progressively responsible management experience in a mix of Product Management, Product/Market Strategy, or related field
  • Experience managing cross-functional team across multiple products simultaneously
  • Experience leading the development of SaaS products, including the development of business cases, roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and success measures
  • Experience creating new, innovative and successful products based on deep market understanding and successful analysis
  • Exceptional quantitative analysis skills (data interpretation, business model building, results tracking); to create actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work with all levels and functions of the organization and establish and maintain relationships with all partners.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field is required; an MBA.preferred.
